  1. Oh what a beautiful photo! This immediately brought to my mind the words of Taps, what is often played with a bugle at a funeral for a veteran or at the end of military or scouting days or events. I remember singing the song as we took down the flag at sunset at Girl Scout camp. Here are the words to Taps:
    “Day is done, Gone the sun, From the lake, From hills, From the sky; All is well safely rest, God is nigh.
    I found another verse (among others) to this song:
    Thanks and Praise, for our days, ‘Neath the sun, ‘Neath the stars, ‘Neath the sky,
    As we go, this we know, God is nigh. ❤
