A monarch found a mint flower
And drank a goodly dose.
The mint was quite enraptured
To see the king up close.
“My friends get all excited
By a visit from a lowly bee
But I’ve had insect royalty
Stop and dine on me!”
There are more things happening in your back yard than you know.
I’ll probably delete this in the morning before the sun heralds the next monarch to our humble yard.
