Thursday, November 17, 2022 Snowfall and Sorrows

The snow fell
And so did the world
Of someone I love.
And sorrow piled in drifts,
Sorrow upon sorrow upon sorrow.

We lift up our eyes to the hills;
From whence comes our help?

The Man of sorrows,
Of grief upon grief upon grief;
That Man knows.
And He has come
To make all things new,
Always and forevermore
Our only hope.

I’ll probably…yes, I might just do that.

  1. I was marveling, this morning on how the snow looked just like big white blankets on the rooftops and ground. I love the way it covers all the dirty stuff and does make it like new. Such a good reminder of what Jesus has done for our sins.
