This is a glorious time of year. There’s fresh green color everywhere that makes you glad to be alive; things are growing, budding, fruiting, and teeming with life. Glory to God in the highest!

Is that asparagus from your garden? I was wondering how to go about growing some. I don’t ever see plants in a nursery–do I start from seed? Wondering. –Lori

Yes, that’s from our garden. We bought bare root stock from Farmer Seed here in Faribault, which sadly went out of business a few years ago. You’ll probably need to find a place that sells the bare root stock. I don’t know how well it would work to start from seed.
