Thursday, August 14, 2025 Do Dragonflies Dragon?

The dragonfly
Is but a fly
With glittering wings,
A delicate thorax,
And shimmering colors.

It flits quite a bit,
It dazzles and whizzles
It circles and dizzles,

But I’ve never seen one –
Not once –
Ever –
Breathe fire.

Have you?

I’ll probably dizzle this in the morning.

    1. Thank you! I love getting comments from you no matter how they come! I have another friend who’s been defeated by the WordPress commenting shenanigans so she’ll sometimes send me a private text or email instead.
